As President of the Southern California Veterinary Medical Association, he was instrumental in introducing affordable pet insurance for pet owners to cope with the rising costs of needed veterinary care. When not engaged with his patients, Dr. B. can be found with his beloved Bernese Mountain Dog Family, whom he raises, trains, and loves with his wife Diane.
